Job Summary

Responsible for food production for patients and commercial meal service to on site and satellite facilities. Responsible for purchasing and receiving of all food and non-food items for all cost centers. Assures services meet all regulatory agency requirements. Works to ensure that food served is nutritionally adequate. Shares responsibility of fiscal performance. Responsible for overall plant safety and sanitation and planning for future development and construction of plant upgrades.

Position Details:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: ServSafe Sanitation;
Experience: 3 years supervisory experience with 1 year food service experience.
Certifications:

Jefferson: Food Handlers within 90 days (about 3 months) of hire.

St Louis/South: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days (about 3 months) of hire. Certified Dietary Manager or Registered and licensed Dietitian within 1 year of hire.

Springfield: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days (about 3 months) of hire.

Washington: Serve Safe Manager within 90 days of hire. Certified Dietary Manager or Registered and Licensed Dietitian.
