Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates degree in information systems computer engineering or a related field.
- Two (2) years of experience in computer support informations systems computer programming or a related field.
- Valid Florida drivers license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Three (3) years of experience in developing and delivering IT related training.
- Strong communication problem-solving and analytical skills.
- IT related industry certification(s).
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy minimum qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills; organizational and management skills.
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations policies and procedures for the functional area of assignment.
- Knowledge of HIPAA Public Records Sunshine Law FERPA and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy public information and records retention.
- Knowledge of and experience with industry-standard equipment materials practices computers and applications.
- Ability to assist and coordinate personnel in a manner conducive to full performance and high morale.
- Ability to professionally and effectively respond to customer needs and requests for service or assistance.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle up to and including large vans or (non-CDL) delivery trucks.
- Ability to efficiently work independently with minimal direction or direct oversight.

- Conduct security assessments and evaluations of our organizations information systems networks and applications to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
- Monitor and analyze security-related events and incidents and take appropriate action to mitigate or prevent potential threats.
- Research evaluate and recommend new security technologies and solutions to enhance the organizations security posture.
- Stay current with new and emerging information technology related training and communicate this information to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other members of the Information Technology team as well as with other departments within the organization to ensure that IT training requirements meet the needs of the organization.
- Proactively participate in technology related groups and associations.
