Job Summary

Temp to Hire

Receive inspect and document incoming steel aluminum consumables and welding supplies

Organize and store raw materials parts and finished goods according to company standards

Track inventory levels and report shortages of welding wire gas cylinders PPE and hardware

Operate forklifts pallet jacks and overhead cranes to move heavy materials safely

Pull and stage materials for welders fabricators and machine operators

Cut bundle or prep metal stock as required (basic saw operation or shearing depending on company needs)

Ensure welding consumables (rods wire tips nozzles) are stocked at workstations

Assist with loading/unloading fabrication projects for delivery or shipment

Prepare outgoing shipments including packaging labeling and documentation

Coordinate with carriers and maintain accurate shipping records

Verify purchase orders and match them with received materials

Follow all safety procedures related to welding environments including handling gas cylinders and hot materials

Maintain a clean organized warehouse to reduce hazards

Inspect equipment regularly and report maintenance needs
