Qualified candidates will be expected to submit the following:

- Dental Assistant certification/diploma.
- CPR (front & back).
- Proof of immunizations.
Pay:$27.20 per hour.

Hours:Day evening and overnight shifts available.
Responsibilities and duties
- Perform decontamination cleaning and sterilization of surgical instruments medical devices and equipment following strict infection control protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Operate and maintain various sterilization equipment including steam sterilizers washer/disinfectors ultrasonic cleaners and automated endoscope reprocessors
- Assemble and package instrument sets prepare case carts for surgical procedures and maintain proper documentation of all processes.
- Conduct quality assurance testing maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards VA directives and facility policies.
- Manage inventory of sterile supplies coordinate with OR and other departments and maintain organized storage areas.
- Transport track and distribute sterilized equipment throughout the medical facility while maintaining sterile technique and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one of the following:
- Two years of relevant post-secondary education at an accredited institution or
- A combination of relevant post-secondary education and work experience totaling two years.
- Minimum 2 years of recent sterile processing experience
- Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques and aseptic principles
- Physical ability to stand/walk full shift and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills
- Background check required.
- Must meet health screening requirements.
