FA-18 & EA-18G Block III Sustainment Project Management Specialist

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a highly motivated and energetic professional to act as Project Management Specialist supporting F/A-18 and EA-18G Block III Sustainment located in Hazelwood MO. Reporting to the Block III Sustainment Manager the successful candidate will lead the proposal and execution of several contracts supporting spares repairs retrofits and obsolescence.

Position Responsibilities:

• Leads develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains integrated plans and schedules for projects programs and change driven activities in accordance with project management best practices
• Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
• Coordinates commitments with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill strategies
• Leads studies/analysis (trend variance impact) reports risk assessments and planning efforts to determine impacts constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives
• Identifies risk and opportunity potential develops mitigation planning and refines the business case
• Develops and establishes lead time requirements
• Facilitates and ensures integration of project/program plan schedules change and baseline management processes techniques considered to be best practice across the industry
• Execute contractual retrofit spare and repair requirements through contractual closeout
• Manage Estimate at Complete and Estimate to Complete challenges for multiple spare and retrofit requirements
• Oversee and mitigate obsolescence and DMSMS risks and issues for multiple systems
• Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 2 years experience in a role requiring project / program management skills
• 2 years experience managing and prioritizing projects in a fast-paced environment
• 2 years experience in supplier management or supply chain management
• Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers suppliers peers and/or partners)
• Experience with strategy development driving future technological change
• Able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Retrofit delivery experience
• Obsolescence/DMSMS management
• Experience as a Control Account Manager
• A current CAPM (Certified Associate of Project Management) or PMP Certification

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations.
