ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Consult with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Writes up customers vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
- Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts while establishing accurate promised time to customer.
- Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time explains cost and time requirements in detail and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
- Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
- Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
- Make outbound calls based on lists provided by management to drive business.
- Answer inbound calls and work with theBDC to schedule your book of business daily.
- Exceed minimum monthly performance based on metrics provided by management.
- Engage with the customer and build rapport.
- Establish a business model to grow consistently year over year.
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE EDUCATION CERTIFICATES LICENSES ETC.
- High School graduate or GED
- Minimum 2 years Service Advisor experience
- Technical Training or Advisor training school graduate to obtain your Degree in Automotive repair or Diesel repair recommended but not required.
- ASE certification in at least one skill levelrecommended but not required.
- Excellent Customer Service abilities
- Must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and clean criminal history.
- Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced results driven environment
- Comfortable with negotiating
