Job Summary
The Role
To strengthen our finance team KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd is seeking a Management Accountant in Dundee.
This role will support the Financial Controller in the accurate processing reconciliation and maintenance of financial records. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of accounting documentation helping to ensure financial data is complete accurate and compliant with internal controls.
Key Responsibilities include:
Supervise support and provide guidance to a team of Accounts Assistants
Participate in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end reporting packages
Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
Prepare and provide financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
Prepare reconciliations and perform detailed analysis of financial data
Assist with the control and reporting of Debtors and Stock
Code and process supplier invoices and oversee payments
Prepare and submit VAT returns Intrastat reporting and statutory/statistical reports
Review and process employee expenses ensuring compliance with company policies
Carry out administrative duties relating to procedures contracts and policy documentation
Act as Concur system administrator and training provider
About You
Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA) or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role
Strong knowledge of financial reporting reconciliations and VAT
Experience supervising or supporting junior finance staff
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in accounting systems and MS Excel
Experience with Concur or similar expense management systems is an advantage
Role Details
Location:Dundee (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Contract:FTC 12-month maternity cover
Hours:Full Time (35 hours per week Monday-Friday)
Salary:40000 to 48000
