Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Telemetry Technicianfor an exciting Travel or Local job in Long Island City NY.

Key Responsibilities

Perform continuous ECG monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms and dysrhythmias
Assess identify and respond to abnormal or life-threatening rhythms in real-time
Initiate emergency codes or alerts in response to critical rhythm changes
Manage and troubleshoot cardiac monitoring equipment safely and effectively
Accurately document ECG readings alarms and relevant patient data
Communicate patient status and monitoring results to nurses physicians and healthcare staff
Enter orders into the system and retrieve lab results for charge nurse review
Properly place electrodes for accurate ECG recordings across clinical settings

Required Education & Certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current (AHA or Red Cross)
Dysrhythmia Course current

Preferred Certifications

EKG Certification
