Job Summary

Bay Area Hospital is looking for a Locum Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. 3 month assignment with the possibility of extension. Job Description:
Accepting full-time (80 hours per pay period)
4 x 10 s
0730-1630 clinic hours
0730-1630 hospital hours
50% inpatient 50% inpatient
NP s currently do weekly rotations between hospital and clinic (one week in hospital next week in clinic etc.)
15-18 clinic patients per day
8-15 hospital patients per day
4 physicians on staff
An assigned MA to assist with managing patients
Triage RN team
Device clinic and dedicated device clinic staff
General cardiology invasive cardiology and electrophysiology support
EPIC EMR
Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner is required
Site requires 4 hours of unpaid EPIC training
Orientation is 1/2 the hourly rate
OT and holidays are paid at 1.25x
Med Mal must be included in rates
OT is after 40 hours
Work Week is Sunday - Saturday Conversion Caps MD is $25K APP is $20K

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED
Oregon license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
Minimum 1 year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner - REQUIRED
Clean background/no malpractice - HIGHLY PREFERRED
Self-Query - NPDB (Should be pulled within the month) at time of presentation - REQUIRED
CAQH login and password - REQUIRED AT TIME OF OFFER
DEA - Verbal Confirmation REQUIRE AT NAME CLEAR
Meets criteria for Medical Staff or Allied Health Professional membership and privilege
