Shift: Varied 8-hour shifts (Days 07:30 15:30 Evenings 15:00 23:30 Nights 23:00 07:30)
Holiday Coverage: Required
Overtime: May be required; no guarantee of shift preference
We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care (LTC) RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting. This contract role involves assessments treatments medication administration and collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities-
Perform resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.

Notify MD/NP of pertinent clinical changes or concerns.

Manage admissions and discharges of residents.

Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).

Perform specialized care including gastrostomy tube care urinary catheter care nebulizer treatments wound vac care CPAP care and other assigned duties.

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems (EPIC).

Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure resident well-being and regulatory compliance.

Active state RN license required upon acceptance of offer; candidates without Hawaii license must obtain one prior to start.

Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferably in long-term care.

BLS/BCLS certification required.

Ability to work varied shifts including weekends holidays and potential overtime.

Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and communication skills.

Bilingual skills not required.

Candidate must attend employee health appointment prior to starting assignment.
