Job Description:
Job Summary:.- Sr Snowflake Platform Engineer
Right. The thought process is already in place. The plan is already in place; the road map is in place. So now what we need is someone who can come in roll their sleeves and then do the work. So thats how it changed for that one.
They will need to build something to pull data from that and bring it to Snowflake. So thats one. And we today like most of the data sources we have its somewhere in a cloud and then we need to bring it in. We are using APIs to pull the data and someone who has.
Great understanding of web services API you know it has a strong Python background. I think that will be very needed and once the data is in Snowflake we need to build some type of transformation within Snowflake.
And someone who has of course it must have its a data strong SQL skill will always be there. But also what we need if someone has a DBT core right thats used within Snowflake for the data transformation I think that would be great plus.
Someone who understand the Snowflake architecture in the back end know how the data sharing between 2 Snowflake platform works how things like that like who is mainly focused on Snowflake itself. Thats the solution engineer.
Job Summary
Were looking for a Senior Snowflake Solution Engineer to design deliver and operate enterprise solutions on the Snowflake Data Cloud. Our platform follows a multi-account strategy and our primary workloads are BI and ML/AI. This role is hands-on and delivery-oriented-owning secure architecture cross-account and cross-platform data product enablement performance/cost optimization and production operations.
Youll partner with data engineering security and analytics/data science teams to implement scalable patterns improve reliability and drive adoption of modern Snowflake capabilities including Cortex Copilot and Intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and implement Snowflake solutions end-to-end: account/environment strategy (dev/test/prod) database/schema design and warehouse/workload architecture.
Define and operationalize multi-account standards (provisioning patterns naming conventions baseline configuration and environment consistency).
Design and administer Snowflake security/governance: RBAC/least privilege service accounts secure views masking policies row access policies and audit-ready controls.
Enable cross-account and cross-platform data sharing and data product consumption including onboarding and support for internal consumers (BI ML) and external sharing where required.
Optimize BI performance and concurrency through workload isolation warehouse sizing query tuning and cost guardrails (resource monitors usage reporting).
Support ML/AI enablement including curated/feature-ready datasets governed access for data science teams and Snowflake-native AI capabilities (Cortex).
Implement resiliency and recovery practices using zero-copy cloning Time Travel and Fail-safe; contribute to incident response runbooks and operational readiness.
Contribute to engineering enablement: dbt standards testing/documentation practices CI/CD release promotion and automation where applicable.
Build lightweight Streamlit apps/internal tooling as needed for self-service operational visibility and stakeholder enablement.
Contribute to Snowflake Center of Excellence practices: reusable patterns reference architectures governance frameworks and roadmap adoption.
Required Qualifications
5 years of hands-on Snowflake delivery in enterprise environments (solution engineering platform engineering or architecture).
Deep Snowflake expertise in:
RBAC design and least-privilege governance
Account/database/schema and warehouse/workload administration
Cross-account data sharing and governed access patterns
Performance and cost optimization (query profiling/tuning concurrency workload isolation resource monitors)
Resiliency/recovery: Time Travel zero-copy cloning Fail-safe
Strong SQL and practical automation/scripting capability for operational tasks.
Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS Azure or GCP) and enterprise integrations (SSO/IdP BI tools ingestion/orchestration ML ecosystem).
Working knowledge of governance compliance and security best practices.
Experience with Cortex Copilot and Intelligence (use-case implementation and operational considerations).

dbt (standards macros testing documentation CI/CD)
Streamlit
Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform) and automated provisioning
