As a key member of EMPACTS Engineering Team you are instrumental in designing configuring and finalizing engineering solutions and deliverables for overhead and underground electric distribution facilities and joint use make-ready engineering communication projects for various clients.
Your key responsibilities:
- Use 3D modeling software to generate electric distribution deliverables for projects that include but are not limited to construction drawings staking sheets permits concrete pole drilling guides and other specifications.
- Help ensure that designed electrical facilities meet client state and federal standards and regulations.
- Develop an understanding of the clients key people and processes.
- Work closely with the project team to ensure that projects are following specified internal engineering processes.
- Effectively manage multiple projects while maintaining work product quality accuracy reliability accountability and deadlines.
- Apply analysis to identify the best solution to a design problem and effectively communicate a course of action with the project team.

What you will bring - Minimum high school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience with electrical distribution design or electric utility experience is a plus.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have a valid drivers license.
- Excellent attention to detail with sound problem-solving skills and desire for continuous improvement.
- Agile interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management while maintaining a harmonious working relationship with all clients and Team members.
