Laundry Assistant
Introduction
An Exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of a Laundry Assistant at Life Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein reporting to the Laundry Manager William Britz.
Critical Outputs
- Collection of linen from units.
- Distribution of linen to units.
- Washing drying ironing and folding of linen.
- Control of linen levels according to requirements.
- Cleaning of laundry equipment.
- Accurate recording of linen quantities in register as per procedure.
- Maintaining good housekeeping.
- Ensure compliance with LHC Laundry Health and Safety regulations.
- Ad-hoc duties as required.
- Grade 12.
- Willingness and availability to work shifts as well as weekends.
- Able to work in a team.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to record linen levels accurately.
- Ability to do physical labour.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
