About The Role:
A Registered Nurse is responsible for ensuring that all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the Registered Nurse and by adhering to policies and procedures of the Mater Hospital and St Vincents health Australia (SVHA).
Patient centred clinical practice in accordance with recognised standards and hospital policy.
Provide optimal service to all customers including patients visitors VMOs and Allied Health professionals.
Ensure open two-way communication is maintained with colleagues staff patients visitors and other stakeholders.
Ensuring the confidentiality of patients and staff is maintained and communication and interpersonal skills are effective and appropriate.
About You:
Valid AHPRA registration.
Bachelors in Nursing.
Current/Previous scrub scout experience.
Excellent communication skills and time management.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

About The Mater:
In this role you will be based at the Mater hospital North Sydney.
One of Sydneys premier private hospitals.
Close by to train stations at North Sydney St Leonards and Crows Nest and buses on Pacific Highway.
The only Australian hospital that is a member of the International Society of Orthopaedic Centres.
Core specialties include Obstetrics Orthopaedics including hip and knee joint replacements bone and sports injuries cardiology cancer care and surgery lung and vascular medicine ear nose and throat surgery urology endocrine surgery and neurosurgery.
