An exciting opportunity exists to join our growing team of Disability Support professionals as a Service Manager to effectively manage our team of Caseworkers within Childrens Services.

Westhaven is seeking an experienced leader who can implement our Strategic Plan at an operational level to enable our children and young people (CYP) to live life the way they choose.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective management of Disability compliance requirements.

  • Grow Westhavens impact by increasing the volume of services delivered to participants.

  • Enact continual improvement processes to drive operational efficiency and financial sustainability.

  • Build a culture of leadership accountability and effectiveness.

  • Act as an effective role model promoting a culture that reflects Westhavens Core Values through all interactions.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Extensive Knowledge: Deep understanding of quality service implementation ensuring compliance with NDIS OCG and relevant National legislative requirements.

  • Disability Industry Experience: Comprehensive working knowledge of the NDIS and OCG frameworks.

  • Leadership Skills: Hands-on experience in performance management mentoring and team development.

  • Financial Acumen: Ability to develop and manage budgets and financial resources in line with NDIS funding.

  • Advanced Problem Solving: High emotional intelligence and the confidence to resolve complex situations.

  • Specialised Understanding: In-depth knowledge of NSW Legislation relating to Out Of Home Care (OOHC) and the 10 essential elements of Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) including trauma-informed practice.

Essential Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work Psychology Disability or a related field (or demonstrated equivalent experience).

  • Current valid NSW Drivers Licence.

  • Current paid Working with Children Check (WWCC).

  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC).
