Purpose of position Brief Summary: Objective

Key areas of focus

To work in partnership across the business to create a high performing safe happy and healthy workplace for all. This role will partner with the business onsite working closely with the direct reports of the site SLT and regional operational managers (Hatchery Feedmill & Farms) and their teams to develop strong credible relationships while delivering operational and strategic support advice and solutions across the full P&C generalist spectrum. This role will also codesign and assist in the delivery and implementation of a range of initiatives and projects as required working in partnership with our Centres of Expertise and the wider P&C team to ensure a positive and engaging people experience and our legislative requirements and Tegels standards are met.

Competencies/Skills / experience required to do the job

Relevant tertiary training with a minimum of five years experience in HR related roles

Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of the business partnering with stakeholders

Ability to work in ambiguous fast paced environments

Strong generalist HR knowledge including ER and IR

Experience in leading projects and successfully implementing new initiatives

Conducting investigations as appropriate and recommending disciplinary or other action to be taken escalating where necessary to the Senior P&C Partner for approval

Pro-actively informing line management of trends & suggest appropriate remedial actions to current issues

Drafting and presenting training course content / material for recommendation as required working collaboratively with Centre of Expertise Learning & Capability

KEY JOB ELEMENTS & RESPONSIBILITIES

Briefly describe the key actions outcomes required and accountabilities for the role

Partner with the business specifically team leaders direct reports of the site SLT and regional operational managers and their teams to build strong relationships and develop a deep understanding of individual roles commercial objectives and people related opportunities

Assist in the development of the site People Plan supporting the needs of the site and overall P&C strategy

Implement programs of work in the P&C Roadmap supporting the P&C strategy working closely with the Senior P&C Partner

Assist with the implementation of all cyclical people and strategic initiatives for the site including performance and remuneration reviews specific operational HR training/briefing Employee Experience Monitor Talent & Succession Planning and Workforce planning as required

Attend team business meetings as required representing P&C delivering best practice HR support solutions advice and people updates

Manage organisational change processes liaising with business heads and P&C Advisor to complete communications and paperwork. Escalate any senior level change management needs to the Senior P&C Partner

Provide pragmatic and timely advice to employees across all levels as required supporting our P&C Advisors on site

Support and assist our people managers to resolve ER issues escalated by our P&C Advisors

Assist the Senior P&C Partner to manage IR issues and processes as required including involvement in collective bargaining

Coach people managers team leaders and employees with a humanistic lens contributing to a high performing safe happy and healthy workplace for all

Utilise metrics and reporting to identify areas of focus and improvement and propose solutions

Liaise with Centres of Expertise to provide full support for Talent Acquisition and Learning & Capability needs as identified assisting as necessary

Liaise with the P&C Advisor to ensure all employees complete Tegel Induction & Onboarding requirements

Work collaboratively with the broader P&C Team coaching and sharing knowledge creating the climate for others to succeed in

Provide support to the Senior P&C Partner and Head of P&C as required

Communications assist with any staff communications as required

Project work and other relevant duties as required
