Within HR this role sits at the heart of people capability and culture designing and delivering organisational development (OD) and learning solutions that strengthen leadership lift capability and support our strategic priorities.

Mō te tūnga About the role

As an Organisational Development Partner you will lead and shape OD and learning initiatives that enable our people and culture to thrive. This is a highly impactful role where you will:

  • Partner with leaders across Parliamentary Service and the Office of the Clerk to diagnose organisational needs and translate them into clear strategic OD and L&D priorities.
  • Design and deliver leadership culture capability and change interventions that are evidenceinformed measurable and aligned to organisational strategy.
  • Use people insights and data engagement turnover DEI wellbeing and capability metrics to set priorities measure impact and demonstrate return on investment.
  • Lead and contribute to OD and L&D projects ensuring clear scope strong stakeholder relationships risk management and timely delivery.
  • Champion the People Strategy and Te Ao Māori Strategy ensuring OD approaches support bicultural practice and organisational responsiveness to Māori.
  • Enhance learning experience and systems identifying improvements across LMS usage content curation learning pathways and talent development.
  • Support succession and capability growth building internal talent and refreshing development pathways for leaders and kaimahi.
  • Facilitate workshops for leaders and teams across culture leadership strategy team effectiveness change and capability.
  • Contribute to HRs operating rhythm including planning reporting budgeting and supplier management.
  • Lead and develop one direct report providing coaching clarity and stretch opportunities.

This is a rare opportunity to influence culture and capability systemwide directly supporting the people who support Aotearoas Parliament.

Youre a trusted OD practitioner with the credibility insight and skill to influence at senior levels. Your experience will include:

  • Significant background in Organisational Development or HR Business Partnering with proven success delivering strategic and operational OD solutions.
  • Confidence partnering with senior leaders and influencing at executive or senior management level.
  • Experience using people data and diagnostics to prioritise measure and evaluate impact.
  • Strong facilitation coaching and stakeholder engagement capability.
  • Evidence of continued professional development (OD change leadership systems thinking).
  • Familiarity with AIenabled capability building and innovation is desirable.

  • Strong relationshipbuilding and customercentricity.

The appointing salary range for this role is $114126 to $126005 per annum. Appointments will be based on skills and experience (please note the full salary range extends beyond this).
