Job Summary

The Liability Defense Attorney will defend premises liability and related negligence claims from pre-suit investigation through litigation and resolution. This role offers hands-on litigation experience meaningful client interaction and long-term growth potential within a supportive team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Defend premises liability and general negligence claims at all stages of litigation
• Conduct pre-suit analysis and case evaluations
• Manage written discovery depositions and motion practice
• Draft pleadings motions and case strategy memoranda
• Represent clients at mediations hearings and court proceedings
• Communicate case updates and risk assessments to clients
• Collaborate with partners and team members on litigation strategy
• Manage multiple active matters and meet deadlines effectively

Qualifications

• 27 years of experience in premises liability defense or related negligence litigation
• Strong legal research writing and oral advocacy skills
• Experience handling discovery depositions and motion practice
• Active Texas bar admission required
