Pay : HK$96142 to HK$114905 (HMPS 9 - 14) per month including Monthly Allowance
An Additional Managerial Responsibility Allowance of HK$2000 per month
Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Make planning in service rationalization and development within the cluster in accordance with the directions and annual plan of HA.
2. Assist in the development and implementation of organization policies and plans provide input in the formation of policies of the department/units.
3. Develop clinical department plans and budgets.
4. Manage operational activities of the clinical department/units.
5. Be responsible for resources and financial management of the clinical department/units.
6. Implement and evaluate the recruitment deployment and retention strategies for staff.
7. Maintain quality assurance in the delivery of patient care of the clinical department / units.
8. Lead the development implementation and evaluation of nursing policies and standards within the department/units.
9. Facilitate and participate in the development of nursing profession.
Entry Requirements
1. Holder of a valid Registered Nurse (Psychiatric) practicing certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
2. Qualification in advanced nursing specialty *.
3. 10 years or more post-registration experience of which at least 5 years is in a management role.
* Qualification in advanced nursing specialty refers to recognized post-registration certificate or post-graduate certificate/diploma course in nursing specialty or Master in nursing# or related discipline with considerable coverage on a relevant nursing specialty.
# Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted
Preferred Attributes / Exposure
1. Demonstrated ability in advanced managerial skills with track record of excellence in health care management and contributions to professional development including research/evidence-based practice teaching and training.
2. A Master degree in nursing or related discipline.
3. Qualification in management*.
* Qualification in Management refers to post-graduate certificate/diploma or Master in health service related management or Master in nursing# or other discipline with considerable coverage on health service related management.
# Only post-registration Master in nursing programmes are accepted
