Project Inspection Coordinator

Following the guidelines of the Responsible the Project Inspection Coordinator has the following main responsibilities:
Identify in close coordination with the Responsible the quality and the management aspects of the order as well as handle inspection notifications in accordance with the project requirements;
Analyze and verify the quality control plans (ITPs) issued by suppliers and sub-suppliers and define the notification requirements for various inspection activities;
Prepare the assignment package for the third-party agency inspectors detailing the inspection tasks to be performed;
Analyze and verify any deviations reported or non-conformities and collaborate with suppliers to resolve possible issues;
Stay informed and updated on topics relevant to the assigned activities
Support the Responsible in sourcing the proper qualified resources with the external providers and in the selection of the same;
Ensure the proper interface with the external providers of Exp & Insp services;
Supporting the assigned Inspector in the verification of the documentation status before confirm the execution of the notified activities;
Prepare the applicable documentation for the execution of Inspection visits;
Maintain and regularly update the Log of the Inspection assignments;
Ensure the correct and timely distribution/filing of the Inspection reports within the Inspection Department and the Project Task Force;
Support the assigned Inspectors in the correct numbering and record of the NCR and Punch List to be issued;
Support the Responsible and Project Leader in the check of the external providers of Inspection shop activities Time Sheets;
When assigned to a specific Project Task Force support the Project Post Order Coordinator in ensuring timely communication and reporting to the Client in the daily activities.
Knowledge and Educational Level:
Mechanical Engineering background
Min 10 years experience in EPC supplies (Static Equipment compressors pumps etc. and fabrication processes)
Experience in inspections and expediting
Desired knowledge:
Competent and certified in Welding engineering field
Competent and certified in Non destructive examinations (minimum level 2 in any method)
Familiar with ASME/EN international codes
Familiar with Dynamics / SAP
