Summary:
Supervises and coordinates the day to day activities of assigned caregiver/private duty staff orients private duty staff to become client caregivers; manages the scheduling process to meet the needs of clients; makes visits to clients as needed in their places of residence; on-call coverage.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervises the day-to-day operations of assigned private duty caregiver staff to include matching and scheduling caregivers to clients based on client requirements and caregiver availability; communicating assignments to caregivers and schedules to clients/families; communicating changes/updates in schedules timely; and accurately maintaining all client/caregiver information in the private duty electronic record system.ï½ 25%
2. Evaluates individual and team performance including conducting hiring performance review counseling disciplining and recommending termination when necessary.ï½ 30%
3. Establishes goals with the program director that are in line with the agency and network goals. 5%
4. Orients new caregiver personnel to role of a Caregiver and facilitates other training opportunities throughout the year for the caregiver staff.ï½ 10%
5. Makes home visits to clients to admit to the private duty program; and as needed makes home visits once the client is on service to supervise the caregivers. 10%ï½
6. Performs payroll duties including verifying timesheets and updating electronic timekeeping records for payroll processing.ï½ 5%
7. Informs private duty director of all concerns and client conflicts in a timely manner.ï½ ï½
8. Manages incoming new referral and client phone calls/communications.ï½ 5%
9. Provides on call coverage as assigned.ï½ 10%
10. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position and other duties as assigned.ï½ï½

Other Information:
Excellent computer skills including knowledge for Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook; good working knowledge of electronic medical record systems and scheduling systems excellent customer communication skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment; ability to be flexible and work well with others ability to facilitate meetings and education classes to nursing assistants/client caregivers
