Locum - Physician - Anesthesiology Position in Davenport IA

Genesis Medical Center Davenport is urgently seeking a Locum Anesthesiologist with a specialization in Obstetrics to join its dedicated healthcare team. This facility is committed to providing comprehensive inpatient OB services at the Davenport Campus ensuring a supportive environment for both patients and staff. Job Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality anesthesia care for obstetric patients.
Perform 24-hour in-house call shifts ensuring continuous patient monitoring and care.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Participate in patient assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations.
Maintain accurate and updated medical records using Cerner EMR.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
Active Iowa Medical License.
Experience in anesthesiology specifically with obstetric procedures.
Clean malpractice and background history (must provide NPDB within last month).

License and Certification Requirements:

Must possess a valid and active state medical license in Iowa.
Board certification in anesthesiology is required.
Specialization in obstetrics must be clearly noted during application.
