Job Summary

LCSWs LMFTs and LPCCs are encouraged to consider a clinical leadership role with Liberty Healthcare.

Liberty Healthcare is now accepting applications for an available Lead Clinician position with our award-winning forensic mental health program which is located onsite at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga CA.

This cutting-edge program provides court-mandated forensic assessments psychiatric stabilization and restoration of competency to people who have been deemed incompetent to stand trial due to mental illness.

As a Lead Clinician you will enjoy an array of leadership and direct care responsibilities including:

  • Conducting psychosocial evaluations
  • Providing cognitive-behavioral treatment and psychoeducation to individual clients and groups
  • Documenting treatment services and writing reports
  • Communicating with family and collateral contacts
  • Taking a leadership role in treatment team meetings
  • Providing training and consultation to clinical ancillary and security staff
  • Assisting with the assignment of new patients to treatment team members
  • Helping to ensure program clients receive high quality clinical services
  • Collaborating with program leadership

As a full-time employee of Liberty Healthcare in this role you can expect:

  • Starting salary between $95000 and $115000 (depending on qualifications)

  • Option to work a traditional 5-day workweek or compressed 4-day workweek
