Job Summary
Ira Ford Saco is hiring a dependable Lube Technician to join our service team. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level automotive technician or someone with prior lube or maintenance experience who wants to grow their career at a family-owned Ford dealership. You will play a key role in delivering fast accurate vehicle maintenance and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
Perform routine vehicle maintenance including oil changes tire rotations and filter replacements
Check top off and replace fluids such as engine oil coolant brake and transmission fluids
Inspect belts hoses tires and other basic vehicle components
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and identify potential maintenance concerns
Communicate recommended repairs or maintenance needs to service advisors
Accurately document all services performed
Follow dealership safety policies and procedures
Maintain a clean organized and safe work area including scrap and debris removal
Work closely with technicians and service advisors to ensure timely vehicle service
Continue learning automotive maintenance procedures and best practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a Lube Technician or automotive maintenance role preferred
Knowledge of basic automotive systems and maintenance services
Ability to use shop tools and diagnostic equipment
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
