TheTechnical Sales Engineerwillbe responsible forpreparingaccurate detailed cost estimates for wire harness assemblies in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. This role requires interpreting complex technical documentationandensuringaccuratebidsare created. TheTechnical SalesEngineer willsupport as the bridge between customers estimating/programs team and internal ME/OPs. Making sure to accurately scope and cost incoming customer requests.Collaboratingclosely with engineering operations supply chain and program management to develop competitive proposals that align with company goals.

What youll own:

Review drawingsBOMS andspecificationsto ensureaccurateunderstanding of customer requirements
Develop detailed labor estimates factoring in processes such as crimping soldering testing and inspection that are in alignment with production capabilities
Supportincreating BOMs with 80% accuracy
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering and Leadership onappropriate costtargets
Analyze time study data to ensure realistic estimates are created
Identifyand highlight potential risks
Support win/loss analysis and provide input to improve future estimating accuracy

What youll bring to the team:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Manufacturing Technology or related field.
Strong understanding of wire harness/cable assembly manufacturing processes per IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.

Bonus Points:

Previousestimating experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
Familiarity with AS9100 standards and aerospace industry requirements.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
Experience reviewing customer drawings specifications and PO requirements.

Compensation:

Compensation will be based on experience qualifications and other job-related factors.
Salary Range: $100000-$150000
This is an onsite role at our new facility in Cypress CA.
