G4S Fire & Security Systems are currently seeking an experienced Fire Systems Service Engineer to join our Dublin based team covering the Leinster area.
The Fire Engineer will be responsible for the service commissioning installation and maintenance of a mixture of small to large scale systems including fire detection
suppression and emergency lighting. To ensure excellence comprehensive manufacturer-led training will be provided for all key systems.
Responsibilities will be:
Service and maintain fire detection fire suppression systems emergency lighting and fire extinguishers in accordance with agreed service and maintenance
contracts as per the relevant IS standards.
Support sales team to specify customer needs through provision of expert advice during on-site inspections.
Promote G4S Brand.
Respond to customer queries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
Respond to emergency activations and other attendances advised through service desk and out of hours services.
Provide regular reports on activities that will enable management plan strategic and operational direction for the fire systems team.
Correct use of P.D.A. and close jobs with any other information required to enable work be invoiced to customers promptly and job certification.
Exercise operational leadership through supporting management ensurin continuity of service.
Ensure that all G4S property vehicles stock test equipment and tools are accounted for and kept in good working order.
Attend product training when necessary and attain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all of G4S product range.
Attain comprehensive knowledge of and keep up to date with all standards relevant to the Fire industry.
