Position Overview:
We are seeking an experiencedBusiness Development Directorto lead our growth initiatives and expand our client base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development within the digital marketing sectorenthusiasm and a deep understanding ofdigitalmarketing and currenttrends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning:Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve revenue targets and enhance market presence.
- Exploration:Work to understandEquimediasproposition services and expertise and howthey align with emerging trends.
- Market Analysis:Conduct thorough marketanalysisto identify trendsopportunitiescompetitor activities and potential growth areas.
- Proposition development:Identify innovative ways to position the agency and its services in a crowded market.
- Client Acquisition:Identify pursue and secure new business opportunities through networking industry events and partnerships.
- Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders includingcolleaguesclientsprospectiveclients and industry influencers.
- Collaboration:Work closely withour teamtocreate compelling proposals forprospective clients andensurea successful on-boarding and handover of new clients.
- Reporting:Monitor and report on business development performance metrics providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualificationsand skills:
- Proven experience in business development preferably in the digital marketing industry.
- Excellent at prospecting and generating new business opportunities.
- Strong network of industry contacts and a solid understanding of digital marketing trends and technologies.
- In-depth understanding of digital marketingand emerging trends in the digital landscape.
- Excellentwritten and in personcommunicationskillscapable of developing compelling business propositions leading pitches and with greatpresentation skills.
- Proficient in negotiating contract terms toensurewe buildmutually beneficialclient relationships.
- Results-drivenself-motivated and tenaciousapproach to meeting and exceeding targetsand KPIs.
- Great active listener and capable of adapting style to suit an audience.
- Capable ofmanagingmultiple projects simultaneously.Experienced at usingHubspot.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration or a related field.
