As Credit Underwriter you will be expected to perform credit and financial analysis activities monitor credit/risk profiles and scorecard developments. The position and team are part of our broader Benelux Risk department. You are part of a Benelux team in which members work in Eindhoven and Mechelen hybrid from our offices.

Day to day:
- Collect customer/vendor information utilizing applicable systems and procedures and assess the completeness of the information received.
- Perform analysis on asset market legal and contractual risk as a basis for decisions and recommendations.
- Complete financial analysis and risk ratings.
- Perform credit evaluation and risk analysis for complex transactions across diverse end-user bases.
- Draw up credit application reports and decide on end-user credit applications and local vendor/dealer agreements within given authority level and policies and liaise with the right credit committee and/or sales on further actions.
- Advise prepare and participate in local credit committee on decision making regarding end-user credit applications and local vendor/dealer agreements within given authorization level.
- Perform annual reviews customer re-ratings and regulatory notifications.
- Provide information support training and align all parties on credit and risk management policies processes and issues in order to cultivate a sound credit organization and risk awareness culture.
- Work closely with Legal Compliance and Asset Management to properly structure and document transactions.
- Actively participate in meetings with customers and internal members.

Essentials:
- Bachelors degree in related field
- 3 years relevant work experience is a preference. We are also open to graduates
- Familiarity with financial analysis
- Good analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in a networked organization
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
- Make data/content driven arguments
- Ability to speak read and write in both Dutch and English
Extras:
- Public Finance and/or Financial Institution experience a plus
