Primary Purpose

The Maintenance I position supports the organizations daily internal operations by ensuring that all facilities equipment and workspaces are maintained in a safe efficient and timely manner. This role plays a key part in enabling the organization to provide high-quality services and a positive environment for staff students guests and the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks accurately and consistently without omission.
Perform general and continuous cleaning and disinfecting of all lobby areas restrooms entryways and related common areas.
Load run and empty the dishwasher as needed to maintain kitchen and break areas.
Demonstrate proactive attention to the needs of the building identifying and addressing maintenance or cleanliness issues before they escalate.

Qualifications

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Three to Five years of experience; experience in a school or arts environment preferred.
Flexible schedule to accommodate events and operational needs.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift 5060 pounds repeatedly over extended periods.
Perform repetitive tasks including lifting pushing and reaching above shoulder level.
