Job Summary

Job Title: Facilities Technician

Location: Modesto CA
Shift: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 11:30 PM)
Duration: 13-week contract (potential for permanent role
Schedule: Part-time 40 hours/week

Roles and Responsibilities:

Support safety quality and compliance standards across the facility
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC electrical plumbing and building systems
Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure operational efficiency
Handle basic repairs (lighting leaks filters minor equipment fixes)
Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility issues
Assist with building automation systems and report any abnormalities
Maintain clean and organized mechanical and maintenance areas
Perform general upkeep (painting carpentry door repairs etc.)
Coordinate with and support vendors and contractors during service visits
Accurately document maintenance work and track inventory of tools and supplies
Participate in emergency response and on-call rotation if required

Requirements:

6 12 months of facilities/maintenance experience
Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems
Ability to use hand/power tools and follow safety protocols (PPE lockout/tagout)
Strong troubleshooting communication and organizational skills
Physically capable of working in varied environments (rooftops confined spaces etc.)
