The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated professional to serve as the Fire Service Outreach Coordinator. As a key liaison this position provides a unique opportunity to travel statewide building lasting professional relationships and acting as a bridge between the OSFM and Illinois Fire Service community dedicated to serving the citizens of Illinois in a positive and impactful way. The selected candidate will serve as the Administrator and Curator for the Fire Museum honoring the legacy of Illinois firefighting. This position also supports and assists the Illinois Fire Service to comply with fire incident recording requirements. As a valued member of the OSFM team and employee of the State of Illinois the selected candidate will have access to state healthcare benefits and a pension plan.
