Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Plasma Table Operator to join our fabrication team. This Plasma Table Operator role is responsible for operating a Messer plasma cutting table to cut metal materials according to production specifications and blueprints. The Plasma Table Operator position requires at least 2 years of plasma cutting experience strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of plasma table operating experience (Messer experience preferred)
Ability to read blueprints and measuring tools accurately
Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
Experience with overhead cranes and/or forklifts (a plus)
Strong attention to detail and quality control
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment

Key Responsibilities

The Plasma Table Operator role includes the following duties:

Operate and monitor a Messer plasma table to cut metal components accurately and efficiently
Read and interpret blueprints work orders and cut files
Set up materials adjust machine parameters and ensure proper machine operation
Load and unload steel plates using overhead crane or forklift (as required)
Inspect finished parts to verify dimensions and quality standards
Perform basic machine maintenance and routine equipment checks
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all company safety procedures and production guidelines

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Comfortable working in an industrial/fabrication environment
