Our client is seeking an Purchasing Clerk to join the Deal Party Port Elizabeth team
Capture and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders accurately and timeously
Obtain and compare supplier quotations as required
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing stock availability and delivery timelines
Follow up on outstanding orders and resolve delivery discrepancies
Verify invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes
Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records
Assist with stock level monitoring and inventory coordination
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and relevant legislation (e.g. BBBEE supplier requirements where applicable)
Support the procurement team with general administrative duties
Maintain proper filing and document control (electronic and manual systems)
Grade 12
2-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
Knowledge of procurement processes
Proficient in MS Office
SAP experience preferred
Order allocation experience
