Adelphi is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing services for a school in St. Lucie Florida.

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor Degree in Nursing required.

Current Florida License as a Registered Nurse.

Experience in community health and/or school health programs.

Ability to perform the functions of the position.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate student health needs including initial health screenings for new students and support individualized health planning within the school setting.

Plan implement and evaluate school-based health care procedures while ensuring adherence to mandated school health programs.

Monitor student health conditions and perform necessary healthcare procedures including during transportation when appropriate and oversee medication management.

Train and monitor school personnel in the proper delivery of health care procedures to ensure safe and compliant practices.

Serve as liaison with the County Health Department and related agencies maintain communication with medical professionals and collaborate closely with school staff and families to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain accurate health records complete required Medicaid documentation for eligible students and perform all assigned duties efficiently and with a high standard of quality.

Any other duties as assigned.
