About the Position:
Utilizing independent judgmentthe Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for maintaining the EQS quality system and external quality certifications (e.g. AS9100 ISO 9001 PED etc.).

What Youll Do:
- Maintains the EQS quality system and external quality certifications
- Maintains the quality assurance manual.
- Responsible for internal/external audits and corrective actions.
- Responsible for reviewing and signing certified test reports.
- Assists other departments with quality system development.
- Manages the personnel in QA.
- Management Representative with responsibility and authority for oversight of:
- Ensuring the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to all applicable requirements
- Ensuring that processes deliver intended results
- Reporting on the performance of the QMS to top management
- Ensuring the promotion of customer focus
- Ensuring the integrity of the QMS
- Travel (local national and international) as required.
- Abides by all policies and procedures established by the Company including plant safety regulations and work rules.
- Must have ability and desire to work with others.
- Meets attendance requirements.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary.
What Youll Need:ã
- Bachelors of Science in a technical field
- Minimum of 5 years QA/QC experience preferably in the metals manufacturing industry.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work with personnel at all levels of the organization
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Active and valid drivers license.
- Willingness and ability to travel when necessary
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
- Commitment to safety
