Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat congenital and acquired heart conditions in fetuses infants children and adolescents.
- Perform and interpret cross-sectional imaging studies (cardiac MRI and cardiac CT) as well as noninvasive imaging studies including advanced echocardiography (transthoracic transesophageal 3D strain imaging.
- Provide collaborative imaging support for surgical and interventional planning complex congenital heart disease and longitudinal patient care.
- Coordinate care across specialties including cardiac surgery interventional cardiology electrophysiology and advanced imaging.
- Support the continued growth and innovation of the Nemours Cardiac Center at Wolfson Childrens Hospital including MRI/CT expansion and integration of advanced imaging technologies.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of fellows residents and medical students; opportunities for clinical research are available.
Qualifications
- MD DO or international equivalent (MBBS MBChB etc.) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Additional fellowship training or demonstrated expertise in advanced cross-sectional imaging (cardiac MRI/CT).
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or equivalent.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Experience with advanced echocardiographic modalities and/or level II/III training in cardiac MRI/CT.
