PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Alan Klinger Civil Rights Fellow will work with ADLs National Litigation team on various projects related to ADLs mission to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include: legal research and analysis fact investigation legal memorandum writing client and potential client interview support internal operational support and team-wide assistance with a variety of litigation and pre-litigation matters.

Qualifications

Attributes:

  • Demonstrated interest in fighting antisemitism and hate consistent with ADLs mission.
  • Strong writing and research skills.

Work Experience:

  • Applicants must have completed their first or second year of an ABA accredited law school.

Education:

  • The Fellowship is offered to students in the summer after their first or second year of law school.

Work Environment:

  • ADL is a hybrid environment; this role may require 3 days in the New York office.

Compensation:

  • This position has an hourly rate of $17.00/hr. This position is 35 hours a week for 10 to 12 weeks. This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York New York. Please note that actual salaries are commensurate with experience and reflect the budget for a given position and since ADL has a location-based compensation structure there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
