Job Summary

TITLE: DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or higher
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of groups (teachers administrators community members and parents)

REPORTS TO: Superintendent

JOB DESCRIPTION: The Warsaw R-IX Director of Technology is responsible for managing the daily operations of the districts technology as well as its overall technology strategy in support of the faculty staff and administration. This includes: short and long term planning budgeting purchasing end-user support and training vendors and outside services management and information security awareness programs. The Director of Technology will work closely with other district administrators and advise on classroom technology curriculum hardware and software and oversee the student information system.

Cybersecurity (Incident Response) Planning
PC/Chromebook Purchasing
Maintaining Software/Hardware Inventory
