Location: Hyannis MA
Employment Type: Contract Assignment
Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Evening / Night (Rotating weekends & holidays)
Schedule Details
Evening Shift: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM
Night Shift: 9:00 PM 5:00 AM
Rotating weekends and holidays required
Compensation
Gross Weekly Pay: $1648
W2 Rate: $18/hour
Stipend: $973/week
Job Summary
A respected acute care healthcare facility in Hyannis Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Cardiology Diagnostic Technician for a contract assignment. This role supports cardiology diagnostic services during evening and night shifts ensuring accurate testing documentation and patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
Perform cardiology diagnostic procedures in accordance with established protocols
Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and ensure proper patient identification
Accurately document test results and patient information in electronic systems
Maintain and operate cardiology diagnostic equipment safely and effectively
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with hospital policies safety standards and regulatory requirements
Provide professional and compassionate care to patients during diagnostic procedures
Support department operations during evenings nights weekends and holidays
Qualifications & Requirements
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Completion of a Medical Terminology course or successful Medical Terminology Challenge Exam
BLS Certification (required)
PBT (ASCP) Certification eligibility as defined by ASCP
Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English
Strong organizational multitasking and time-management skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
Prior acute care hospital experience preferred
