Specifically we are looking for aTS/SCIclearedTechnical Writer-Seniorto support this missionatMacDill Air Force Base FL.
Responsibilities:
As aTechnical Writer- Senior you will provide technical and management leadership for all equipment and information support functions across the Task Order. Your responsibilities include:
- Review and edit statements of work (PWSs) and proposals related to C2ISR Transport Infrastructure initiatives ensuring they are technicallyaccurate clear concise and compliant with acquisition directives.
- Review and edit sections of vendor proposals related to PRDs for technical clarity consistency and alignment with theTask OrderTOs requirements helping Government POCs in their technical assessments.
- Ensures compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines across all phases of acquisition and contract management.
- Executeslogisticsstrategies aligned with SCRM to ensure secure efficient delivery of mission-critical materials while mitigating supply chain risks
- Ensure all documentationpertaining toacquireditems (frominitialsourcing to final delivery and integration) for PRDs is well-organizedaccurate and clearly presented.
- Plans designs and leads the development of comprehensive technical and non-technical forms documentation and references for high-impact programs and processes.
- Functions as a lead collaborator with technical staff and customer representatives to define and document the specifications design features and operation of critical technical processes and solutions guiding the documentation strategy.
- Leads the writing and editing of all user manuals help systems and technical documents setting standards for clarity and effectiveness.
- Oversees the design and formatting of documentsestablishingbest practices for using document-creation software and ensuring visual consistency across major projects.
- Plans and conducts interviews with key developers and subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and depth of all information presented in major documentation efforts.
- Evaluates and refines audience assessment strategies recommending major changes to writing approaches and content presentation tooptimizeuser comprehension.
- Directs collaboration with graphic designers for the creation of complex and impactful visual aids ensuring alignment with documentation goals.
- Shapes the transformation ofhighly complexinformation into easily digestible and user-friendly content for broad audiences evaluating its effectiveness.
- Establishes and enforces adherence toestablishedstyle guides quality standards and regulatory requirements across the entire documentation suiteidentifyingand implementing process improvements.
- Manages the documentation lifecycle for critical projects including advanced version control archiving and content management strategies.
- Develops and implements strategies to ensure consistency in messaging and terminology across all project deliverables and communicationsimpactingoverall project success.
- Utilize the followingRole Specific Tools: Documentation authoring platforms (MS Word Adobe FrameMakerMadCapFlare); style guide compliance checklists; configuration management databases (CMDB) with version control; SOP/QRC libraries for standardized documentation; lessons learned repositories for technical writing and O&M manuals; collaborative editing tools (SharePoint Confluence Google Docs); automated formatting and citation tools; digital training manual development suites; stakeholder communication dashboards for document review cycles; audit compliance checklists for FAR/DFARS documentation standards.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- Previousexperience asaTechnical Writeror similar rolesupporting a DoD customer at the CCMDlevel
- Minimum of8yearsexperiencewith a BS/BA degree or6years experience with a MS/MA or3years experience witha PhD. or 12 years w/o degree or 10 years with AS/AA Degree
- A current active DoD security clearanceat the TS/SCI level
- US citizenship is
DesiredQualifications:
- DoD-approved IA baseline certification for ADP-III/IT-III based on the IAT level and CE/Operating System (OS) certificate within six months of the assignment.
Work Environment:
- Location:MacDill AFB FL
- On-site expectations: Full-time on-site presencefor equipment management and asset tracking
- Travel:May require occasional travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites forlogisticscoordination and facility assessments

Target Salary Range
$80000 - $128000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
