Job Summary
Reports To: Building Principal
Work Year: 180 Days
Hours: 8:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m.
Compensation: $150 per day plus individual benefits
McKeesport Area School Districtis seeking a reliable and flexible Elementary Permanent Day-to-Day Substitute to support instructional continuity across elementary grade levels. This position is assigned daily within the building to provide classroom coverage and maintain consistent learning environments for students.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelors Degree (4-year degree)
Preferred:
Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification in PreK4 K6 or 48
Responsibilities:
Provide classroom instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
Implement lesson plans and instructional materials as provided
Maintain a positive structured and safe classroom environment
Follow school policies procedures and behavior expectations
Communicate effectively with staff and administration
Perform basic supervisory duties as assigned (arrival dismissal lunch etc.)
