A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL COURIER

As a Medical Courier you are going to different laboratories hospitals doctors offices and other medical facilities to pick up items such as blood and urine samples for laboratory testing. At each site you may also deliver supplies for collecting samples. You represent the company. Successfully transporting medical items requires knowing how to safely store the items on the way to the destination and documenting your work. This role also requires following health privacy regulations and doing some basic vehicle maintenance. While the job normally doesnt require any specific postsecondary education it does take someone who has some medical knowledge can drive safely and provide excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or higher
• Customer service experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• At least 18 years of age
• Clean driving record

WORK SCHEDULE

This part-time Medical Courier position typically has a morining run between 10:00 am - 12:00 pm and an afternoon run between 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm Monday-Friday
