Job Summary:
The Operations Business Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day business operations within an area. This role serves as a liaison to department leadership ensures compliance with organizational policies and implements process improvements to enhance performance and service delivery.
Essential Functions:
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency streamline processes and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Oversee day-to-day office operations including facilities management workspace coordination and infrastructure support in partnership with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate office events meetings and employee engagement activities to support a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
- Manage storage operations and inventory control ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance standards.
- Lead safety and security operations including emergency preparedness incident reporting regulatory compliance and coordination with internal teams local authorities and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with policies procedures and applicable laws.
- Develop and deliver onboarding materials and resources for new staff and manage background checks for covered personnel.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support hardware software and communications infrastructure; educate staff on available IT support resources and proper reporting channels.
- Provide operational advice to department leadership contributing to long-term planning budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education:
- Bachelors degree in business non-profit management or another related field (required)
