We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Housing Officer to join our successful Estates Management Team to assist in delivery high quality Tenancy and Rent arrears Management.

Brentwood Borough Council have a stock of Circa 2500 properties and you would be responsible for your own patch. Our Housing Officers are generic and manage all aspects of a Tenancy from breach of Tenancy through to Anti-Social behaviour and Rent collection.

We are looking for a highly motivated person who is committed to the very highest standards of customer care to join our team of Housing Officers.

You will have experience of rent collection as a Social Landlord and be able to engage with customers to agree maintainable repayment agreements in respect of current rent and arrears. You will be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of welfare reform and be able to advise Tenants on this accordingly.

As an experienced officer you will be confident visiting Tenants in their homes to discuss concerns and be confident in identifying any support needs.
