Summary:
Opportunity for a Housing Resettlement Officer to support individuals and families in moving from temporary accommodation into settled housing. The role involves managing a caseload providing housing advice and working with partners to resolve homelessness and support sustainable tenancies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of applicants under the main housing duty
- Assess housing needs and develop personalised housing plans
- Provide advice on housing options including private rent and supported accommodation
- Liaise with landlords and agencies to secure suitable accommodation
- Conduct interviews and home visits where required
Essential Requirements:
- Experience in housing homelessness or related services
- Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation (Housing Act 1996 Part VII)
- Excellent communication and case management skills
- Ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence (required for home visits)

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS
