Role overview: The Merchandising Graduate role is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about Category Management and Brand Marketing. This role offers a unique opportunity to start a career in these fields through a structured learning and development program our current CEO began his career in this graduate program!

About the program:

• This 2-year graduate program will equip you with the skills and knowledge to kick-start your career in Merchandising.
• From day one you will be allocated a dedicated mentor to support your growth and development.
• In the first year you will work within our branch network to gain a deep understanding of our customers and products while undertaking a month-by-month learning plan.
• In the second year you will transition into the Merchandising team at our world-class Cremorne office called The Works. Here you will learn the foundations of Category Management or Brand Marketing and contribute to business-critical projects that directly impact the experience of our customers.
• Once the program is complete you will roll off into a full-time Category Management or Brand Marketing role at Reece.

Key selection criteria:

• Recent university graduates with a degree in Marketing or a major in Marketing from studies in Commerce Business Business Management or International Business.
• Strong marketing knowledge with an interest in current trends and industry developments.
• Data-driven mindset with a commitment to uncovering customer trends and informing strategic product development.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions.
• Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Team player with a conscientious approach to work.
• Resilience and passion for reaching goals.
