Position Summary

The Director of Marketing willbe responsible fordeveloping and executing the companys overall marketing strategy. This includes demand generation product marketingchannel partnerships and marketing operations. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in B2B SaaS marketing and a proventrack recordof driving measurable results.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company growth goals.

  • Define initiatives across demand generation product marketing content and brand awareness.

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align marketing with businessobjectives.

Demand Generation

  • Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns (email SEO PPC social media webinars etc.).

  • Optimizelead generation and nurturing strategies to support sales pipeline growth.

  • Monitor and improve conversion rates across the funnel.

Product Marketing

  • Partner with product teams to develop positioning messaging and go-to-market strategies.

  • Lead product launches andcreatesupportingcollateral.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.

ChannelPartnerships

  • Ownthe channel marketing strategy aligned to company revenue goals

  • Collaborate with Channel Partnership team todevelopand supportstrategy togrow channel partnership pipeline

  • Oversee co-branded campaigns that drive pipeline production adoption and market credibility

Content Strategy

  • Oversee creation of high-quality content (blogs whitepapers case studies webinars).

  • Ensure content is SEO-optimized and aligned with buyer personas.

Marketing Operations

  • Manage marketing techstacksincluding CRM automation and analytics platforms.

  • Track and report on KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Team Leadership

  • Build mentor and manage a high-performing marketing team.

  • Foster a collaborative data-driven and innovative culture.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales productchannelpartnership andcustomer success teams to ensure alignment.

  • Support sales enablement with tools collateral and insights.

Core Competencies

Strategic & Analytical Skills

  • Strong strategic thinking and planning capabilities with the ability to translate business goals into actionable marketing plans.

  • Proficiencyin marketing analytics and performance measurement including ROI analysis and funnel optimization.

  • Experience with A/B testing conversion rate optimization and customer segmentation.

Technical Proficiency

  • Deep understanding of the SaaS business model including customer acquisition retention and expansion strategies.

  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g. HubSpot Marketo) CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics Tableau).

  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM paid media email marketing and content management systems.

Leadership & Communication

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with experience hiring mentoring and developing marketing talent.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling messaging and present to executive stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced high-growth environment.

Creative & Brand Expertise

  • Experience in brand development and storytelling across digital and offline channels.

  • Ability to oversee creative direction and ensure brand consistency across campaigns and platforms.

Market & Customer Insight

  • Skilled in conducting market research competitive analysis and customer interviews to inform strategy.

  • Deep understanding of buyer personas and customer journeys in the SaaS space.

Work Environment

This position performs its duties from ourOrange CAoffice. This positionoperatesin a professional office environmentandroutinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones mobile devices photocopiers filingcabinetsand fax machines.

Physical Requirements

While performing the functions of this job the employeeis regularly required tosit;frequentlyrequiredto talk and hear use hands and fingers to type scroll and use computer equipment. The employeeis required tohave close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms. Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is afull-time exemptposition. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the officeisexpected during regular business hours Monday-Friday. However some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may berequiredas job duties demand.

Travel

Thereisno major travel requirementfor this position. However infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s) attend conferences/industry events etc. Attendance at our corporate Staff Retreat isrequired. This event is a 2-3-day at our annual User Conference as assigned.

Salary Range

The salary range is $130000.00-$150000.00 offered may vary depending on multipleindividualized factors including market location job-related knowledge skills and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Administration Communications or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 610 years of progressive experience in B2B marketing with at least 35 years in a SaaS environment.

  • Proventrack recordof leading successful demand generation and product marketing initiatives.

  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with sales product and customer success.
