Zeigler Ford of North Riverside is seeking an experienced Ford Main Shop Service Consultant/Advisor to join our high-volume service department. Compensation & Benefits
Competitive compensation plan
$1200.00bi-weekly salary paid ratably in accordance with the normal payroll schedule in effect at the time (currently paid bi-weekly).
$450 bi-weekly salary draw
Draw based on 110 hours safe harbor pay period.
The bi-weekly Bonus calculation will be reduced by a DRAW so that the Net Bi-Weekly Bonus to be paid shall equal the Bi-Weekly Bonus calculation less the Draw then the resulting deficit shall be rolled forward to subsequent months until the deficit is covered. The Bi-Weekly Draw amount shall equal $450
3% base commission of total sales. Parts and Labor Customer Pay Warranty paid bi-weekly.
.5% additional ifCSI is above FORD Regional Goal
.5% additional if total prior month total sales are above $100000 earns for the next month

Responsibilities
Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival
Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information
Listen carefully and document vehicle concerns and symptoms
Recommend maintenance and repairs based on vehicle age mileage and service history
Prepare clear and accurate estimates for parts and labor
Coordinate appointments and establish realistic completion timelines
Arrange loaner vehicles when needed and verify insurance coverage
Monitor repair progress and provide proactive updates to customers
Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and invoices reconcile with work performed
Review completed repairs with customers and explain all services and charges clearly
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
Qualifications
Previous Ford dealership experience required
Minimum 1 year of experience in a service department (Service Advisor Service Consultant or Assistant Lane Manager)
Strong understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
Ability to quickly identify and address customer concerns
High energy professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems
Ability to learn new technologies and manufacturer procedures
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong personal and professional integrity
