Position Summary
Snapology is hiring Summer Camp Facilitators to lead hands-on STEM camps at our Center in Lancaster PA. Facilitators guide campers through engaging activities using LEGO Bricks robotics kits and engineering challenges. This is a great role for teachers education majors and college students who enjoy working with kids and want a structured weekday position that builds teaching and leadership experience.
Location
Snapology Center - Lancaster PA
Schedule and Hours
- Monday to Friday
- Typical camp hours between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (exact schedule varies by program)
- Part-time 20 to 38 hours per week (based on enrollment and scheduled programs)
Pay
$16 to $18 per hour based on qualifications and experience
What You Will Do
- Facilitate STEM camp activities for children ages 5 to 14
- Lead groups of approximately 10 or more campers in a structured environment
- Deliver Snapology curriculum (no lesson planning or grading required)
- Support positive behavior and create an encouraging learning environment
- Communicate with staff regarding camper progress needs and daily updates

Qualifications
Required
- Experience working with children in a structured setting (camp classroom childcare etc.)
- Comfortable managing groups of 10 children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background checks and child abuse clearances
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds and stay active throughout the day
Preferred (Not Required)
- Education child development or related coursework/experience
- Experience with LEGO Bricks building LEGO Technic building or LEGO robotics kits (helpful but not required)
- Experience facilitating activities tutoring mentoring coaching or teaching
