Position Summary

The Hospitality Associate is responsible for ensuring our guests and members receive gracious hospitality while sampling our award-winning wines and learning about our vineyards history and wine making practices. We are seeking a positive enthusiastic self-starter who is flexible and loves working in a team environment. The candidate must be passionate about wine have ability to sell and develop lasting relationships with guests. Saturdays and Sundays are required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors with enthusiasm
  • Lead guests through tours and wine tasting flights educating them about the winery story wines and brand.
  • Work towards developing relationships with guests to convert into Wine Club members
  • Effectively suggest and sell wine with the ability to up-sell
  • Daily Tasting Room operations set up and breakdown cash handling daily sales and club transactions.
  • Work seamlessly with team to create The Estate Experience for all guests and members

Qualifications

  • This position works weekends
  • Excellent communication skills are required
  • Must be 21 years of ageor older to comply with ABC regulations
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  • Must possess or acquire a Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certifications
  • Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time

This is the projected compensation for the position however the actual compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as (but not limited to) candidate qualifications related experience and education candidate work location and market data.
